Ashley Capital, Covington City, and Newton County officials recently gathered to break ground at Covington Logistics Park. Ashley Capital’s southeast office has continued to expand in the I-20 East submarket of Atlanta, GA with its acquisition of this 167-acre master-planned park in Covington, GA.
Covington Logistics Park will be a Class A industrial park with the potential for up to 1,700,000+ SF of industrial space. It is ideally located ½ mile from I-20 via Exit 93 (Hwy 142), providing excellent access for large distribution users. The northern 67 acres are bordered by the CSX main rail line which provides desirable rail service for manufacturers and distributors. The first building on the site will total 323,000 SF and features 68 dock, 65 trailer, and 192 car spaces and is expected to be completed second quarter 2022.
