Biography
Mark Quimby is a Vice President of Ashley Capital. Mr. Quimby’s primary responsibilities are predevelopment activities, incentive procurement and management, environmental risk management, and supporting the construction team on the redevelopment of contaminated land.
Prior to joining Ashley Capital in 2022, Mark worked as an environmental consultant for 17 years specializing in vapor intrusion and the redevelopment of contaminated land. Mark worked as a Due Diligence and Remediation Manager with Amazon.com with responsibilities focused on evaluating and addressing environmental risk and liabilities for the global property portfolio. Prior to Amazon, Mark worked as a Senior Consultant with SME, a mid-west USA engineering consulting firm, and was the senior technical lead for environmental assessment, remediation, and redevelopment projects.
Mark has successfully led the due diligence and redevelopment of multiple complex and diverse projects such as former manufacturing plants, plating facilities, landfills, junk yards, dry cleaners, bulk petroleum facilities, and gas stations. Mark has a B.Sc. in physics, serves as the Chairperson of the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Canton Township, Michigan, and volunteers on multiple national standards committees on the construction of vapor intrusion mitigation systems.
