Biography
Erin Johnson is Vice President and General Counsel for Ashley Capital. In this capacity, she manages legal affairs for the Michigan and Florida properties, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and compliance. Erin provides strategic leadership across all phases of the asset lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business and operational goals.
Prior to joining Ashley Capital, Erin was a partner in Dickinson Wright’s real estate practice, where she led entities and individuals to successful outcomes in the purchase, sale, leasing, development, and financing of office, retail, multi-family, industrial, warehouse, and mixed-use projects throughout the United States. Erin has collaborated closely with a diverse range of clients, leveraging her expertise to develop innovative solutions for complex real estate and business challenges.
Erin was named a 2025 “Top Lawyer” in Real Estate by DBusiness Magazine and has been named a Michigan Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” a Legal 500 recommended lawyer in real estate, and a Best Lawyers in America “One to Watch.” Erin holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Law and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan.
