The Livonia Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Livonia West Commerce Center 2 to celebrate the redevelopment of the former GM Delco Chassis Plant Land into a new industrial facility.
Mayor Maureen Miller Brosnan highlighted the importance of Ashley Capital’s investment in the region: “Partners like Ashley Capital are so important because they are often our first believers,” she said. “This site was full of potential disasters, and Ashley Capital said, ‘Nope. We see the promise,’ … There are major developers who are going to believe right along with us and make projects like this happen.”
The 365,000 square foot industrial facility is fully leased by two tenants across three suites.
Oliver/Hatcher Construction, the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, and Ashley Capital employees were on site to enjoy the occasion.
